Obituary of Martin Gleydura

Martin “Tex” Gleydura, 92, of Upper Deerfield Township passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2020 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland. Born in Barnsboro, PA, the son of the late Stephen and Mary Gleydura he was the husband of Agnes Massimino Gleydura. He was predeceased by his first wife, Mildred Abel Gleydura. Martin had been an Upper Deerfield Township resident for 60 years and had lived in Bridgeton prior to that. Before his retirement he had been employed with the Owen-Illinois Glass Company in Bridgeton as a supervisor in the corrugated department. He served his country as a veteran of the United States Army and was a member of the Parish of the Holy Cross in Bridgeton. Martin enjoyed gambling and the casinos in Atlantic City. In years past he was an avid bowler and softball player and had also coached baseball. Surviving are his children, George M. Gleydura (Patricia) of Upper Deerfield Township and Maria G. Mudge (Floyd) of Newtown, PA; two grandchildren Christopher Gleydura and Ashley Gleydura; a great-granddaughter, Autumn Gleydura and a sister, Marge Abel of OH. He was predeceased by several brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township on Saturday, December 19th at 11:30 AM. Friends will be received from 10:30 to 11:30 AM prior to the services at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Laurel Lawn Cemetery in Upper Deerfield Township.
