Obituary of Barbara A. Smith

Barbara A. Smith, 77, of Bridgeton passed away on Friday, December 11, 2020 at Inspira Medical Center – Elmer. Born in Woodbury, she was the daughter of the late George F. White and Cecil Gates White and the wife of the late William B. Smith. She had lived in Bridgeton for the past four years and prior to that in MO, TX and FL. Barbara had been a barber before her retirement and had worked at Pat's Barber Shop in Woodstown for several years. She also was an avid traveler and served as an evangelist, spreading the Gospel throughout her many journeys. She is survived by her three children, William B. Smith, Jr. of MO, Michele Timberman of Upper Deerfield Township and Mark F. Smith of Pennsville, 8 grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren along with two sisters, Stella of Clarksboro and Darlene of Bridgeton. Graveside funeral services will be held at Centerton Free Will Baptist Cemetery on Friday, December 18th at 11:00 AM where the interment will follow the services.
