Obituary of Arthur F. Williams

Arthur F. Williams, Sr., 78, of Bridgeton passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland. Born in Bridgeton and a lifetime Bridgeton resident he was the son of the late Norman Williams and Mary Wilmore Williams. He was the husband of Marlene Harmon Williams. Before his retirement, he had been employed with Leone Industries in Bridgeton for 16 years and prior to that Sorantino Cadillac in Bridgeton for 21 years. A “Family Man”, Arthur was also a Washington Redskins fan and enjoyed cooking. In addition to his wife, Marlene, he is survived by six children, Arthur F. Williams, Jr. of Bridgeton, Debra Williams-Clark of Millville, Theresa Williams of Pennsville, Mary Williams of MO, Donna Mack of Bridgeton and Phyllis Williams of Millville; two brothers, Walter Williams of Bridgeton and Larry Williams of NC; one sister, Bertha Broughton of Bridgeton and host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Sharon Hill and a son John Williams along with 10 brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township on Saturday, November 28th at 11 AM. Friends will be received from 9:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the services. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Memorial Park in Hopewell Township.
