Gladys E. Hatton, 67, of Millville passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2020 at Cooper University Hospital in Camden. The daughter of the late Ernest Lee Day, Sr. and Minnie Moore Day, she was born in Live Oak, Florida and was the wife of the late Vernon Eulay Hatton, Sr. She had been a Millville resident since 1982 and had lived in Buena prior to that. Gladys had previously been employed with the Golden Nugget Casino Hotel in Atlantic City. She was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church in Newtonville. Surviving are her five children, Michelle Huston of Glassboro, Theresa Martin of Millville Vernon W. Hatton, Jr. of Vineland, Elisa Hatton-Williams of Millville and Darrell Hatton, Sr. of Millville; a sister, Dorinda Waters of Sicklerville; a brother, Aaron Lee Day, Sr. of DE, 26 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by three brothers, Ernest Day, Jr., Dennis Day and Wendell Day, Sr. and a sister, Linda Soloman. Funeral services will be held at the Cumberland County Community Church, 1800 East Broad Street, Millville on Wednesday, November 18th at 11:00 AM. Friends will be received at the church from 9:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the services. Arrangements are under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Township.
