Josephine A. Woodward, 88, of Pittsgrove Township passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at her home. Born in Bridgeton, she was the daughter of the late Milford Garrison and Lillian Smith Garrison and was the wife of the late Arthur Woodward. She had been a Pittsgrove Township resident since 1960. Josephine was a homemaker and also provided child care. She enjoyed planting flowers at her home and cooking and baking. She is survived by her grandson, Robert A. Woodward, Jr. and his wife Andrea of Vineland; her sister-in-law, Carolyn Martorana of Deerfield and four great grandchildren, Christina, Taylor, Nicholas and Angelina. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her son, Robert A. Woodward, Sr.; three brothers, Frank, Warren and Earl Garrison; a sister, Jeanette Masey and a grandson, Christopher Woodward. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 11th at 11:00 AM at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the services. Interment will take place at Laurel Lawn Cemetery in Upper Deerfield Township. Due to current regulations associated with the Covid-19 healthcare situation, we are limited to 50 people within the funeral home at a time and the understanding and cooperation of the public is greatly appreciated.
