Linda Kemp-Bland, 66, of Bridgeton passed unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at her home.
Born in Bridgeton, she was a lifetime resident here and was the daughter of the late Stit Williams and Georgia Colson Singletary. She was the wife of the late Bennie Bland, III.
Raised in the Church, Linda was a well known and accomplished gospel singer and musician. Before her retirement due to disability, she had been employed with private homes doing housekeeping work and also with hotels in the Wildwood area.
She is survived by two sons, Nyjua J. Kemp of Bridgeton and Jahleel Daniels of GA, other family members and her many friends and acquaintances who will all miss her.
Funeral services will be held at the Alms Center, 1 Bridgeton Avenue, Bridgeton on Saturday, November 7th at 11 AM. Friends will be received at the Center from 9:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the services. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Memorial Park in Hopewell Township. Arrangements are under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Township
