Robert W. Klenk, Sr., 83, of Upper Deerfield Twp. passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland. Born in Woodbury to the late Frederick Klenk and Charlotte Lochridge Klenk, he was the husband of the late Lita Scott Klenk. Robert had attended Woodstown High School where he played baseball and football before moving to the Bridgeton area in 1960's and later to Upper Deerfield Twp. where he was a resident for the rest of his life. Prior to his retirement, he had worked as a mechanic for Wheaton Glass in Millville for many years. He had been previously employed at Owens Illinois Glass Co., General Motors in DE and as a television and appliance repair man at CNH Repairs in Vineland and RCA. Robert was a veteran of the United States Army serving in Washington State during peacetime. He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Hopewell Twp. In his free time, he enjoyed visits to Ocean City with his family, visiting relatives in Virginia and watching sports especially the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles. He is survived by his son, Robert W. Klenk, Jr. of Upper Deerfield Twp.; three grandchildren, Kris, Bobby and Faran and four great-grandchildren, Kris, Madison, Samuel and Autumn. Besides his wife, Lita, he was preceded in death by his son, John Scott Klenk; three siblings, Joan Legg, Nancy Smith and Fred Klenk and his daughter in law, Barbara Ann Klenk. Graveside services will be held at Cumberland County Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, 95 Trench Road, Bridgeton on Friday, September 25th at 11 AM.
