Obituary of Caroline D. Cordero

Caroline Heckman-Cordero, 46, of Millville and formerly of Pittsgrove passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September, 17, 2020 at her home. Born in Bridgeton to Dennis E. Heckman and Carolyn Stout Heckman, she was the wife of Raul A. Cordero. Caroline had lived at her present address in Millville for the past six months and prior to that she had lived in Pittsgrove Twp. Caroline was currently employed as a Certified Nurses Assistant at Lincoln Specialty Care in Vineland. She had been formerly employed at the Cumberland Manor in Hopewell Twp. and Eagleview Health and Rehab Center in Pittsgrove Twp. She is survived by her husband, Raul A. Cordero of Millville; her parents, Carolyn and Dennis Heckman; her son, Devon Heckman of Pittsgrove Twp. and two siblings, Christine N. Fletcher of Upper Deerfield Twp. and D. Philip Heckman of Bridgeton. She was preceded in death by her infant sister, Carolyn Denise Heckman. This year of 2020 was the happiest year for Caroline. She and Raul were married in April and they had both accepted Christ as their Lord and Savior. Even though her health started to decline in January, she had found the love of her life, Raul, and along with her son Devon, who she adored, she had her family and church family; she was so happy. Funeral services will be held at First Wesleyan Church, 200 Laurel Heights Drive, Bridgeton on Tuesday, September 22nd at 12 Noon.
