Obituary of Mary Ann Woolley

Mary Ann Woolley, 82, of Pilesgrove, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at home. Born in Tuscaloosa, AL to the late Carl Ford and Mary John Yancy Ford; she was the wife of the late Jewel C. Woolley. Mary Ann was born and raised in Alabama and the greater Atlanta, GA area. She had been a resident of Salem County since 2012. In her free time, Mary Ann loved to shop especially for clothing, jewelry and shoes. She loved to spend time with her family. Her family described her as a bubbly, friendly person who could have a conversation with anyone she met. She was the definition of a southern belle. She is survived by; her son Anthony Woolley and his wife, Michelle of Pilesgrove; her grandchildren, Ford Woolley and Hannah Woolley; her siblings, Carl “Buddy” Ford, Jr. of GA, Brenda Anderson (Dalton) of AL and Imelda Morie (Glenn) of WA and many other extended family members. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jewel C. Woolley. Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
