Rosemary Armstead was born on April 6, 1951 to the late Dorothy Mae Booker and George Armstead. She attended Woodstown High School. Rosemary lived in Vineland most of her life. She worked at Seabrook Brothers and Sons in Upper Deerfield Twp. for more than ten years. She attended Shiloh Baptist Church. Rosemary enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She loved playing cards, dancing and watching the Philadelphia Eagles. She was preceded in death by; four brothers and two sisters. Rosemary leaves to cherish her memories; Walter Adison Carter; her daughter, Dorothy Armstead (Darnell); her son, Walter Carter, Sr. (Sharonda); her special aunt, Elizabeth and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Rosemary was a loving mother, great-grandmother and a dedicated companion. She will be sadly missed by all. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Friday, July 31st at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Yorktown Methodist Cemetery in Pilesgrove. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 9 AM to 11 AM prior to the services.
