Obituary of Alice Weddington

Alice Weddington, 70, of Upper Deerfield Twp. passed away on Friday, July 24, 2020 at Virtua Hospital-Willingboro. Born in Bridgeton to the late Paul Buckley and Lillian Smith Buckley, she was the wife of Arnold R. Weddington. Alice had been a resident of Upper Deerfield Twp. for 39 years and prior to that she had lived in Bridgeton. Before her retirement, Alice had worked in the Selecting Dept. with Decora Glass in Vineland and had been previously employed by Owens Illinois Glass Co. in Bridgeton for many years. She is survived by; her husband, Arnold Weddington, Sr.; her daughter, Tammy Lea Weddington of Upper Deerfield Twp.; a son, Arnold Weddington, Jr. and his wife, Evelyn of Upper Deerfield Twp.; three sisters, Grace B. Daniels of Stow Creek Twp., Joan Bradley of Hopewell Twp. and Margaret Buckley of TN and her granddaughter, Arianna Weddington. She was preceded in death by her brother, Paul Buckley, Jr. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 28th at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. at 10 AM. Interment will take place at Fernwood Memorial Park in Hopewell Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 9 AM to 10 AM prior to the services.
