Obituary of Nicole "Nikki" M. Selba

Nicole “Nikki” M. Selba (Nardelli), 40, of Bear, DE formerly of Bridgeton passed away unexpectedly at her home on Saturday evening, July 18, 2020. Born in Turnersville to Alexander “Alex” Nardelli, Jr. and Kimberly “Kim” Ann Frye Nardelli, she was the wife of Jacob “Jake” Paul Selba. Nikki had been a resident of Bear, DE for the past five years. She had previously resided in Newark, DE, Wilmington, DE, Greenville, DE and while attending East Carolina University she had lived in Greenville, North Carolina. Nikki spent her years up until graduation from Sacred Heart High School in Bridgeton. Nikki had worked in hospitality management in the restaurant industry for her entire working life. She had been working for the Garces Group out of Philadelphia for the past six months. Prior to that, she had been employed by; Chipotle Mexican Grill Inc. for about a year, Bertucci's Restaurants for five years and the largest portion of her career was spent at the former Lone Star Steakhouse and Saloon Co. for over 15 years. She had attended church at St. Margaret's of Scotland Parish in Newark, DE and was a member of the Parish of the Holy Cross-Immaculate Conception Church in Bridgeton. In her free time, Nikki enjoyed spending time with her friends, family vacations and having an all around good time. She was also an avid football fan and her favorite team was the Philadelphia Eagles. In her younger years, she loved her summer time trips to Florida to visit her grandparents who she cherished. Nikki also loved her dogs, Cooper, Tucker and Ray who she considered her children. Her family described her as a person who would drop everything to help anyone in need. She is survived by; her husband, Jake P. Selba of Bear, DE; her parents, Alex and Kim Nardelli of Bridgeton; her brother, Michael Nardelli and his wife, Kelly of Cedarville; her paternal grandfather, Alexander J. “Henry” Nardelli, Sr.; her niece, Madyson Nardelli; her nephew, Michael Nardelli, Jr.; her beloved dogs, Cooper and Tucker and Jake's dog, Ray. She was preceded in death by; her maternal grandparents, William P. and Jane Frye and her paternal grandmother, Jeanette Nardelli. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Friday, July 24th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery in Bensalem, PA. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 9 AM to 11 AM prior to the services.
