Maurice “Wink” J. Renshaw Jr., 66, of Newfield passed on into the Lord's hands on Tuesday, July 7 2020 at his home. He was born in Vineland to the late Maurice J. Renshaw Sr. and Mary J. Stafford Renshaw. He had been a Newfield resident for the past four years and prior to that had lived in Malaga. He was known by family and friends as Wink. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving his Country during the Vietnam Conflict. He had owned and operated Winks Pool Service for many years, serving the south Jersey area. Wink had been a lifelong member of Christ Community Baptist Tabernacle on Route 40. He played trumpet and was the music director there. He was diagnosed with Leukemia in February of 2020. Many of his church family helped with his everyday care and travel for chemotherapy treatments. Wink spent his time in his woodworking shop on Route 40 and had many regular customers who stopped by to see what new creations he had come up with and to chat. He loved music and singing, he always had a song in his heart and loved his Lord and Savior. Wink was also an acrylic and watercolor painter. He will be sadly missed. He was preceded in death by his father, Maurice J. Renshaw Sr.; mother, Mary J. Renshaw and brother, Daniel V. Renshaw. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2020, at 11AM, at Olivet Cemetery in Pittsgrove Twp. Written condolences can be sent to the family at www.padgettfuneralhomes.com
