Obituary of Karina Erika Miguel-Ruiz

Karina Erika Miguel-Ruiz, 41, of Fairfield Twp. passed away on Monday, June 29, 2020 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland. Born in Huixquilucand, Estado de Mexico to the late Aurio Miguel and Irma Ruiz, she was the wife of Rigoberto Perez-Cruz. Karina immigrated to the Bridgeton area in 2003 where she was a resident for the rest of her life. Karina was the owner and operator of Mundo de Lluciones Bridal Shop in Bridgeton since she opened in 2012. She was a member of the Parish of the Holy Cross-Immaculate Conception Church in Bridgeton. In her free time, Karina enjoyed spending all of the time she could with her daughters. Her family described her as an extremely dedicated wife and mother. She is survived by her husband, Rigoberto Perez-Cruz of Bridgeton; two daughters, Carla Stephanie Perez-Miguel and Karina Joscelin Perez; her siblings, Jose Antonio Miguel, Claudia Miguel-Ruiz and Irma Miguel-Ruiz all of Mexico and her parents, Aurio Miguel and Irma Ruiz of Mexico. Funeral services will be held at the Parish of the Holy Cross-St. Teresa of Avila Church, 46 Central Ave. in Bridgeton on Monday July 6th at 12 Noon. Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery at Laurel Lawn in Upper Deerfield Twp. Due to current regulations associated with the Covid-19 healthcare situation, we are limited to 75 people within the church at a time and the understanding and cooperation of the public is greatly appreciated.
