Obituary of Martha J. Waterhouse

Martha J. Waterhouse, 64, of Millville passed away on Friday, June 5, 2020 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland. Born in Cairo, GA to the late J. Lewis Karnegay and Mary Lizzie Hancock, she was adopted by the late Lavern and Earl Carter in 1963 when she relocated to Bridgeton. She had been a resident of Millville for the past 20 years. Prior to her retirement she had been employed at Wheaton and Gerresheimer Glass Companies in Millville for about 27 years. She was a member of the Glass, Moldmakers and Pottery Union. In her free time she loved to do yard work and took great pride in her home. She was an animal lover especially of her dog, Gizmo. Most of all Martha enjoyed spending time with her daughter and granddaughter. She is survived by her daughter, Christy Knotts and her companion, Anthony Clark of Millville; her granddaughter, Jordan Knotts; her siblings, Ray Rollison of Millville, Patty Simmons of FL, Howard Karnegay of FL, Mary L. Wilford of FL and Marsha K. Rowland of FL and two half-siblings, Lisa Christiansen and and Alan Karnegay. She was preceded in death by; her husband, Reynold G. Waterhouse and three siblings, James Karnegay, Charlotte Karnegay and David Carter. Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
