Obituary of George H. Dickinson, Jr.

George H. Dickinson, Jr., 94, of Fairfield Twp., passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2020 at his home. Born in Fairfield Twp. to the late George H. Dickinson, Sr. and Mary E. Woodlin Dickinson, he was the husband of the late Ursalee Wright Dickinson. George had been a lifetime resident of Fairfield Twp. Prior to his retirement in 1987, George had worked for Kerr Glass Co. in Millville for 27 years and before that he had worked at Johnny's Esso Service Station in Fairfield Twp. for over 14 years. He was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church in Millville. He is survived by; his son, George Kenneth Dickinson of Fairfield Twp.; his daughter, Diane West of Fairfield Twp.; his companion and friend, Elaine Herring; 8 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by; a son, James Dickinson; a brother, Sherman C. Dickinson and a grandson, George Dickinson. Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
