Obituary of Sandra "Sandy" J. Mosley

Sandra “Sandy” J. Malatesta Mosley passed away at home surrounded by loved ones on May 25, 2020. Sandy was born to Frank L. Malatesta and Dorothy E. Malatesta (Zeuner) in Bridgeton, New Jersey on October 5, 1940. Sandy spent most of her life in the Bridgeton area until recently moving to Harrington, Delaware. She was a very proud homemaker and kept a meticulous home. She loved to cook for her family and enjoyed socializing with her friends, including her dear friend, Barbara. She also enjoyed camping and shopping in Lancaster. Sandy was loved by her cats Silly, Willy, and Blaker. Sandy leaves behind her loving husband of 46 years; Gerald Wayne Mosley, her brother; Dennis Malatesta (Jeannie) of Des Moines, Iowa, and is predeceased by her sister; Barbara Jean (Toots) Malatesta. She also leaves behind her children; Veronica J. Atha (Matt) of Hopewell Twp., NJ and Mark A. Devich (Candy) of Lawrence Twp., NJ. Sandy was predeceased by her first born daughter, Michele G. Pierce in 2018. Sandy loved being “mom-mom” to her grandchildren; Cassie Griffith, Ryan Atha (Milena Cardinal), Kristen Jenkins, Jason Pierce (Bianca), Michele Pierce, Laura Truitt (Elliott), Megan Devich (Michael Emma), and Kyle Devich (Jason Smith). Sandy was also a proud great-grandmother to six great-grandchildren with the seventh due at the end of June. Sandy will be missed by a host of sisters and brothers in law, nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
