Obituary of Jimmie Hill

Jimmie Hill, 66, of Bridgeton passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland. Born in Swainsboro, GA to the late Willie Hill and Mattie Mae Hill, he had been a resident of Bridgeton for the past 50 years. Prior to his retirement, Jimmie had been employed as a forklift operator for Laning Bros. Farms in Fairfield Twp. for many years. He had also worked for Sheppard Farms in Cedarville. In his free time, Jimmie loved riding Kawasaki Motorcycles and watching western movies. He never left home with out one of the many hats from his hat collection. His family described him as a great cook and some of his most famous meals were chitlins, collard greens and fried fish that he would catch himself. He was also an avid sports fan and his favorite team was the Dallas Cowboys. He is survived by; five children, Michael Williams of Millville, Shanika Hill of Bridgeton, Tylee Hill of Bridgeton, Brian Moore of Bridgeton and Kevin Allen of NC; two sisters, Willie Mae Hill and Annie Hill both of Bridgeton; two brothers, Asa Hill and Jessie Dee Hill both of Bridgeton; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
