Obituary of Robin G. DeFrancisco

Robin G. DeFrancisco, age 60, of Upper Deerfield Township died Monday, September 24, 2012 at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia following a five month period of declining health. Born in Bridgeton on July 13, 1952 she was the daughter of the late John Vermullen and Anna Mae Daughady Vermullen. She had been an Upper Deerfield Township resident for 26 years and had lived in Bridgeton prior to that. Before her retirement, Robin had been employed at the Cumberland County Court House for 26 years where she had served as a Senior Superior Court Clerk for the State of New Jersey. She was a member of the Woodruff United Methodist Church. She is survived by her two daughters, Lindsay DeFrancisco of Ventnor and Annamarie DeFrancisco of Philadelphia; her fianc, John H. Ashburn of Upper Deerfield Township; three sisters, Suzanne DiMucci (Mike) of Upper Deerfield Township, Toni Zanni (Joe) of Las Vegas, NV and Betty Jean Saegar (William) of DE; two brothers, Jan Vermullen of DE and Jay Garrison (Mary) of Upper Deerfield Township; an uncle, Jack Vermullen (Jean) of Hopewell Township and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her stepfather, J. Wayne Garrison. Memorial services will be held at the Woodruff United Methodist Church on Monday, October 1st at 1 PM. Friends will be received from 11 AM to 1 PM prior to the services at the church. In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions in Robin's memory be made to either the Cumberland County SPCA, 1244 North Delsea Drive, Vineland, NJ 08360 or to the Woodruff United Methodist Church, c/o Debbie Queripel, 2 Finley Road, Bridgeton, NJ 08302.
