Earl G. Mints, 75, of Millville passed away at his home on Friday, February 21, 2020.
Born in Millville to the late Earl P. Mints and Elsie Caldwell Mints, he was the husband of Frances Mayhew Mints. Earl had been raised in Dorchester and spent most of his life as a resident of Millville. He had also resided in Vineland for about 15 years.
Prior to his retirement, Earl had been employed as a maintenance supervisor at the Veteran's Memorial Home in Vineland. Prior to his promotion to that position, he had worked as chief operating engineer of the boiler system at the Veteran's Memorial Home. Earl was a veteran of the United States Navy serving during the Vietnam conflict on the USS DeHaven in the Pacific Theater. In his free time, he enjoyed deer and pheasant hunting, vegetable gardening, canning, bird watching, barbecuing, cooking and baking. His family described him as a wonderful husband and father who was generous and would give anyone the shirt off his back.
He is survived by; his wife, Frances Mints of Millville; two daughters, Lisa McKelvey and her husband, Sam of Millville and Kimberly Trask and her husband, Herman of Millville and his granddaughter, Megan Trask of Millville.
