Obituary of Helen A. Hermley-Keen

Helen A. Hermley-Keen, 67, of Brigantine passed away suddenly and peacefully surrounded by her loving family on January 2nd, 2020. Helen was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. She later moved to Brigantine, NJ, an island she loved and where she raised her family. She worked for many years delivering newspapers on the island of Brigantine for the Atlantic City Press. She also worked as a dispatcher for Brigantine Taxi. Helen loved her grandchildren with her whole heart, she lived each day blessed with them in her life. In her free time, she enjoyed painting, writing, fishing and the joys of cannabis. She loved to travel with her late husband Bob along the eastern coast, especially to Florida for Spring Training. Although Spring Training was Bob’s favorite activity, hers was fishing off a pier into the Gulf of Mexico. Sunrises on the beach were one of her favorite sights to see. In her downtime Helen enjoyed binge watching Netflix. Helen is reunited and playing with her beloved four-legged companions that passed before her; Flash, Joy, Diamond Lil, Mercedes and Ester. Helen was known to never say “Goodbye” but always “Peace Out”. Helen will be greatly missed by all she encountered throughout her amazing journey of life. She is survived by her children; Thomas Hermley-Keen (Nicola Klepka), Helena Rosati (William), John Keen (Mia DiStefano) and Rhonda Terwilliger; her grandchildren, Rachel Eve (Evie), Johnny (Angel Boy), Kiersten (Kir-Bear), Billy (Billy Joe Bob), Dylan (Bambino) and Kole (Big Blu); her twin brother Robert “Bob” Hermley (Jeanne); Sister-in-law Adela Hermley; Brother-in-law Paul Lahn; nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and other extended family.
