Obituary of Candelaria Garcia

Candelaria Garcia -Santiago, 56, of Vineland, died unexpectedly on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at her home following a two year period of declining health. Born in Bridgeton on January 16, 1956, she was the daughter of Mae Rose Crowe Marquez of Fairfield Township and the late Carlos Marquez. She had lived in Vineland for 10 years and prior to that had resided in Bridgeton. Candelaria was a homemaker and enjoyed baking, flower gardening, crafts and shopping. Surviving are a son, Barry I. Garcia of Vineland; four daughters, Belinda Garcia and Christina Garcia both of Brandon, FL, Amanda Santiago of Vineland and Letisha Santiago of Millville; four brothers, Carlos Marquez, Jr. of Millville, Michael Marquez of FL, Frank Diaz of Vineland and Charles Koerner of Millville; two sisters, Ruby Hernandez of Bridgeton and Carla Marquez of TX; her loving companion with whom she resided, Cecilio Santiago, Jr., 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Barry. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township, on Monday, September 17th at 1PM. A visitation will be held on Monday afternoon from 12 Noon to 1 PM prior to the services. Burial will take place at Fernwood Memorial Park in Hopewell Township.
