Obituary of Ronald Dawson

Ronald Dawson, 77, of Millville passed away on Friday, January 3, 2020 at Inspira Medical Center-Vineland. Born in Newport, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Fred Dawson and Angeline Freshour Dawson and the husband of Clara Sutton Dawson. He had lived in Millville for the past 25 years and had resided in Rosenhayn prior to that. Before his retirement, Ron had been a Tree Surgeon by trade working with the Quaker City Tree Service for over 30 years. He had also worked with the Asplundh Tree Expert Company for over two years. He enjoyed motorcycling, gunning and decorating his home at Christmastime. He had been awarded first place for his holiday decorating by the City of Millville seven years in a row. He also enjoyed yard work at his home with special attention to the grass. In addition to his wife, Clara, he is survived by six children, Brian Dawson (Tracy) of Vineland, Sherry Roach (Bobby) of NC, Ricky Dawson of Deerfield Twp., Tina Beach of OH, Tammy Hubbard (Roy) of OH and Roger Griffith of Millville along with several brothers and sisters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. Memorial services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township on Wednesday, January 8th at 3 PM.
