Obituary of Betty Lou Turner

Betty Lou Turner, age 77, of Newport died Monday, September 10, 2012 at her home. Born in Hopewell Township, she was the daughter of the late Alphonso Allie Vineyard and Grace Woolbert Vineyard and was the wife of the late William R. Turner. She had lived in Newport for 45 years and prior to that had been a resident of Cedarville. Before her retirement, she had been employed as the Vice President of the Foreign Shipping Dept. for 30 years at Wheaton Glass Co. in Millville. She also worked as a home health aide or 15 years and at the Lawrence Twp. Food Bank. She is survived by a son, William Turner of Newport and her beloved pets, Rusty and Scamper. She was preceded in death by a sister, Josephine. Graveside funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family at Fernwood Memorial Park in Hopewell Township.
