Reverend Wiker and my father, Russ Gandy, worked closely together at Faith Farm. My Dad had much respect for him. My condolences to the family.

Remember those Luther League trips to New York City, in fact one trip that we took it was snowing in the New Jersey Turnpike and Pastor Wiker had to stop several times to scrape the ice off of the windshield. Pastor Wiker married me for both of my weddings. My dad said that he wasn't going to walk me down the aisle for the second wedding, and Pastor told him yes he was. We had a lot of good memories at Friesburg. Rest in peace and as you said Pastor, I hope that there's baseball up there in heaven. Cindy Plummer

So many Memories, How about the Charlie Brown baseball references in his sermon, or the time he took me to a Phillies game and a tour of South Phil. that scared this young farm boy to death. My best is remembering the looks on batter's faces when I used to catch for Ed. He would blow that back spin riser past them and the look of disbelief was priceless.

Ed Wiker was the best. Best Family Man. Best Pastor. Best Friend anybody could have. Good memories going to Phillies and Eagles games together. Praising God and growing in faith at Emanuel and Christ Lutheran Churches. God willing, we will see you Ed in the Kingdom!
