Brandriff, Jr. and her adoptive uncle, Dr. Keith Figgs. She is also survived by her aunt, Karen Heckman (Rev. Douglas), as well as additional aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Sonya was predeceased by her father, Paul "Sonny" Taylor, Jr.; her maternal grandparents, Ida Brandriff and Warren Brandriff, Sr.; her paternal grandmother, Martha Taylor and her uncle, Lewis E. Brandriff. A very special member of her family is her beloved dog, Jake. Sonya will be missed by all, who will always cherish the memories of her and her giving and caring heart.
