Obituary of Vernon Willie Cole

Vernon Willie Cole, 67, of Millville passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland.

 

Born in Brotmanville, he was the son of Lois Cole and the late Finest Reaves and was the husband of Barbara Schulz Cole. He had been a Millville resident most of his life.

 

Vernon was mainly self employed as a commercial house painter and had also operated a vending business and held his veterans vending license. A veteran, he had served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corps.

 

He and his wife enjoyed their time fishing together.

 

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his mother, Lois Cole Jones of Bridgeton and his seven brothers and sisters, Darlene Fisher, Wanda Cole, Debbie Jones-Lee, Carey Jones, Jr., and Scott Jones all of Millville, Iris Jones of Bridgeton and David Jones of Hopewell Twp.

 

Services will be held on Friday, November 15th at 11 AM at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. Friends will be received from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the services. Interment will follow the services at Cumberland County Veterans Cemetery in Hopewell Twp. Written condolences can be sent to the family at www.padgettfuneralhomes.com.
