Obituary of Mary Ann Jones

Mary Ann Jones, age 70, of Fairfield Township passed away on Monday, October 28, 2019 at Inspira Medical Center-Vineland with her family by her side.

Born in Fairfield Township and a lifetime Bridgeton area resident, she was the wife of Thomas E. Jones, Sr. and the daughter of the late William H. Faison and Goldie Mae Folks Faison.

Prior to her retirement, Mary had been employed as a teacher with the Cumberland County Day Training Center in Vineland.

She was a member of the Shiloh Baptist Church in Vineland and a former member of the Trinity Holiness Church in Fairfield Township.

An all around “People Person”, she also enjoyed cooking, dancing and gardening around her home.

In addition to her husband, Thomas, she is survived by her four children, Thomas E. Jones, Jr. (Angela) of Vineland, Stephanie R. Maddox (Lamar) of MD, Tremayne A. Jones (Rasheeda) of Bridgeton and Angela D. Rozier (Antwine) of Williamstown; a sister, Delores Butts of Bridgeton, 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchldren. She was predeceased by 11 brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 5th at 12 Noon at Shiloh Baptist Church, 1837 NE Blvd, Vineland. Friends will be received at the church from 10 AM to 12 Noon prior to the services. Interment will take place at Cumberland County Veterans Cemetery in Hopewell Township. Arrangements are under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Township.
