Obituary of James A. Pierce

James A Pierce, 68, of Bridgeton, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 17th 2019 at his home.

Born in Gouldtown to the late Florence Pierce, he had been the husband of Bernetta J. Ridgeway Pierce and was a resident of Bridgeton all of his life.

James worked at Seabrook Brothers & Sons for 15 years prior to his retirement. In his free time he enjoyed fishing, Harley Davidson motorcycles and watching westerns.

He is survived by; his wife, Bernetta J. Pierce; a step-daughter, Sherry Gonzales; four brothers, Percy, William, Nelson and George; one sister, Louvica; two great-grandsons, James and Dondre and several other extended family members. He was preceded in death by; his mother, Florence; two sisters, Arlene and Janet and two grandchildren, Felicia and Natasha.
