Clark “Clyde” R. Johnson, 79, of Bridgeton, passed away Thursday, September 12th, 2019 unexpectedly at his home.

Born in Deals Island, MD, he was the son of late Joseph E. Johnson, Sr. and Maude Harris Johnson. Clyde was a resident of Millville for over 45 years, prior to that he lived in Port Norris. Before his retirement he had worked for West Company in Vineland.

He is survived by five children; Sheryl Cisrow of Millville, Joyce Maddox of Millville, Curt Parker Johnson, Kevin Hayman of Millville and Andre Horsey of Washington Twp, four brothers; William Johnson of Port Norris, Joseph Johnson, Jr. of Millville, Stephon Thompson of Port Norris and Roger Thompson of LA, four sisters; Roslyn Thompson of Port Norris, Delvetta Thompson of Bridgeton, Beverly Thompson of Millville and Gayle Thompson of Port Norris; and many grandchildren and great-grand children.

Funeral services will be held at Bethel AME Church, 113 S 5th St, Millville, NJ 08332 on Friday, September 27th at 12 Noon. Interment will take place at Haleyville Methodist Cemetery in Commercial Twp. Friends will be received at the church from 11 AM to 12 Noon prior to the services.
