Willard Wayne Baker, 54, of Bridgeton passed away Sunday morning, August 4, 2019 as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident that occurred in Fairfield Twp.

 

Born in Bridgeton to Margaret Brown and Willard J. Baker, he was the husband of the late Tyesha Taylor Baker. Willard had been a lifetime resident of the Bridgeton area.

 

He had been currently employed at J. Pallmero Massinoroy in Egg Harbor Twp and had previously worked for the City of Bridgeton in the Maintenance Department. Willard was an avid fan of the Miami Dolphins and was enjoyed all sports. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with his children, cooking and taking trips to the casinos.

 

He is survived by; three daughters, Tunyia Hinds of MN, KhyAsia Floyd of FL and Nyasia Gilmore of Mullica Hill; his mother, Margaret Brown of Vineland; his father, Willard J. Baker of Millville; his fiancee, Machelle Floyd of Bridgeton; six grandchildren and two sisters, Rita A. Baker and Maryann Coleman both of Bridgeton.

 

Funeral services will be held at Glory Tabernacle, 1018 Buckshutem Rd., Bridgeton on Wednesday, August 14th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Memorial Park in Hopewell Twp. Friends will be received at the church from 9 AM to 11 AM prior to the services. Written condolences can be sent to the family though the funeral home website at www.padgettfuneralhomes.com.
