Obituary of Robert B. Woodward

Robert B. Woodward, 58, passed away on June 5, 2019 at Jefferson Stratford Hospital after a long illness.  Known by his friends as "Bear", Robert was a lifelong resident of Bridgeton.  Robert worked many years for Bianco Brothers and for Ardis Construction after Bianco's went out of business.  Robert was a big fan of the Washington Redskins.  He was also a longtime member of 5th Ward Athletic Club until his illness.

     Robert was the son of the late Donald Woodward, Sr. and the late Charlotte Woodward (nee McPherson).  He is survived by his brother, Donald Woodward, Jr. (Tricia); daughter Hollie Bedford (Steven); grandchildren, Ryan Woodward II, Nyla Bedford and Caleb Bedford; aunt, Dale Capps (David) and their daughter, Kelly, and many cousins and friends.  He was preceded in death by his son, Ryan Woodward.

Funeral Services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township, NJ. on Wednesday, June 12th at 11:00 AM. Visitation will take place from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the services at the funeral home.  Interment will take place at Fernwood Memorial Park in Hopewell Twp., NJ.  Written condolences can be sent to the family at www.padgettfuneralhomes.com.
