Joaquin Cervantes-Barriga, 37, of Minotola passed away unexpectedly while working in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on Sunday, May 26, 2019.

 

Born in Quiroga, Michoacan, Mexico to Joaquin Cevantes and Carmen Barriga, he was the husband of Maria Andrea Jimenez Cervantes. Joaquin had been a resident of Minotola for several years.

 

He had been employed by Superior Metal Services in the construction field.

 

He is survived by; his parents, Joaquin Cervantes and Carmen Barriga of Minotola; three daughters, Dyanaesha Cervantes and Anjelina both of New Jersey and Maria Jose Cervantes of Mexico; three brothers, Jaime, Carlos and Edwardo and a sister, Alejandra. He was preceded in death by a sister, Veronica Cervantes-Barriga.

 

Funeral liturgy will be celebrated at the Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Parish-Our Lady of Victory Church, 202 N.W. Blvd, Landisville on Wednesday, June 12th at 12 Noon. Interment will take place at Our Lady of Victory Cemetery in Buena Vista Twp. following the services. Friends will be received at the church from 9 AM to 12 Noon prior to the mass.
