Barbara E. Neiman, 80, of Commercial Twp., passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at her home under the care of hospice and her family.

 

Born in Blenheim to the late Franklin Surran and Veroncia Kearney Surran, she was the wife of the late William Neiman. Barbara had lived at her present address in Commercial Twp. since 1970 and prior to that she had resided in Deptford.

 

Before her retirement in 1991, she had been employed with Holly Commons Residential Facilities in Millville as the receptionist. Barbara was a member of the Parish of the Holy Cross-St. Michael's R.C. Church in Cedarville.

 

She is survived by; two sons, Robert Shurran, Sr. of Commercial Twp. and William H. Neiman of Millville; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by; her husband, William H. Neiman and her son, Timothy Carroll.

 

Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Monday, April 29th at 4 PM. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 3 PM to 4 PM prior to the services. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations can be made to Carol's Catz through their website at www.carolscatz.com.
