Obituary of Roger R. Rich

Roger R. Rich, 60, of Alloway Township died on Monday, April 1, 2019 at Inspira Hospital-Elmer.

 

A lifetime Alloway Township resident, he was born in Salem and was the son of the late James T. Rich and Bonnie Caldwell Rich. 

 

Roger was self employed and had operated his own lawn care business for many years.

He was passionate about motorcycling and also enjoyed cars and being with his friends.  Roger deeply loved his family and his extended family living in Florida where he spent time also.

 

Surviving are his three sisters, Gale Steelman (Lou) of Alloway Township, Pamela Girtain of Lower Alloways Creek and Brenda Wood (Woody) of Lower Alloways Creek; two great nephews, two great nieces and many cousins along with his good friends Pete Watts and Pat Ayars.  He was predeceased by his sister, Judy Nielson and two brothers, Donnie Caldwell and Wayne Rich.

 

Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township on Saturday, April 6th at 11 AM.  Friends will be received at the funeral home on Saturday from 9 to 11 AM prior to the services.  The interment will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions in Roger's memory be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.  Written condolences can be sent to the family at www.padgettfuneralhomes.com.
