Obituary of Edwin P. Walker, Sr.

Edwin P. Walker, Sr., 72, of Bridgeton passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Cooper University Hospital in Camden.

Born in Bridgeton to the late William S. Walker and Alice M. Clark Walker, he was the husband of Nancy L. Riley Walker. Edwin had resided in Cedarville and Bridgeton most of his life.

He had been previously employed by M&G Electrical as a delivery driver, Owens Illinois Glass Co. and Murbeck Co. all in Bridgeton. In his free time, Edwin enjoyed hunting, fishing and working on cars.

He is survived by; his wife, Nancy L. Walker of Bridgeton; five children, Victoria Murray of Cedarville, Robert L. Walker of MA, Edwin P. Walker, Jr. of Millville, Bryan H. Walker of Bridgeton and Christopher J. Walker, Sr. of Bridgeton; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and seven brothers and sisters. He was preceded in death by a son, Edwin P. Walker, Jr.

Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 160 Main Street, Cedarville on Friday, March 29th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Cedarville.
