Obituary of Hope Slater

Hope Slater, 53, of Millville passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at her home under the care of hospice and her family.

Born in Bridgeton to Bishop Dr. Daniel L. Allen, Sr. and Jacqueline Slater Rogers, she had been a resident of Millville for the past 9 years and prior to that she had lived in Vineland.

Hope had worked as a manager at several McDonald's restaurants in Vineland. She was currently enrolled as a student at Atlantic County Community College where she was studying Culinary Arts.

She is survived by; her mother, Jacqueline Rogers of Bridgeton; her father, Bishop Dr. Daniel L. Allen, Sr. of DE and four brothers and sisters, Kyle Allen of Rosenhayn, Elliott Rogers of Bridgeton, Lani Allen-Davis of Pennsville and Ericka Allen-Jarett of DE.

Memorial services will be held at the Exalting the Word Cathedral, 173 South Ave. Bridgeton, on Thursday, March 14th at 12 Noon.
