Obituary of Donald Bruce Rider

D. Bruce Rider, Sr., 85, of Minotola passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at Eagleview Health and Rehabilitation in Pittsgrove. 

Born in Bridgeton, he was the son of the late Edward C. Rider and Hazel Hess Rider and the husband of Joan MacMahan Rider.  Before moving to Minotola four years ago he had been a Bridgeton resident most of his life except for a 20 year period he lived in Florida. 

Prior to his retirement, Bruce had been employed as a superintendent with Don Rogers Construction Company in Bridgeton for over 20 years. 

Bruce enjoyed fishing and was an avid Philadelphia Phillies and 76ers team fan.

In addition to his wife, Joan, he is survived by three sons, Patrick Rider, Michael Rider and Bruce Rider, Jr.; a daughter, Tracy and a brother, John Rider.  He was predeceased by two sisters, Patricia Sheppard and Wanda Lowe.
