Obituary of John J. Miletta

            John J. Miletta, 85, of Pittsgrove passed away on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at his home.

            Born in Cedarville to the late Frank Miletta and Theresa Lamanteer Miletta, he was the husband of the late Katheryn Robbins Miletta and the late Norma J. Miletta. John had been a resident of Pittsgrove Twp. for 30 years and prior to that he had lived in Millville and Cedarville.

            John was a veteran of the United States Army serving in Germany during the Korean conflict. He had been a Union Plumber with Local 322 out of Winslow Twp. John was a member of the Landisville Social Club and the Italian American Political Club in Bridgeton.

            He is survived by two children, Anna Marlene Andres of Ocean City and David J. Miletta of Minotola; four step-children, Jackie Hawk, Sandy Anderson, Cheryl Wilbourn and George Anderson; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Connie Barlam, Betty Bassetti, Vito Galati, Minnie Notaro, Rosie Bonham, Bruno Miletta, Tony Miletta, Joe Miletta, Susie Gallaher and James Molette.

            Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Tuesday, February 5^th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Greenwood Memorial Park in Millville. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday evening, February 4^th from 6 PM to 8 PM and on Tuesday morning, February 5^th from 10 AM to 11 PM prior to the services.
