Obituary of Audrey Johnson

            Audrey Johnson, 69, of Bridgeton passed away on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at the Bishop McCarthy Residence in Vineland.

            Born in Bridgeton to the late John Rogers and Sadie Holloway Rogers, she had been a resident of Bridgeton most of her life.

            Prior to her retirement, Audrey had been employed at the Vineland Developmental Center. She was a member of the City of Refuge Church in Bridgeton. In her free time, Audrey enjoyed cooking.

            She is survived by three sons, Ronald Johnson of Lindenwold, Jovan Jones of Bridgeton and Alfred Jones of Vineland; a brother, Walt Brown of Vineland; two sisters, Louise Hall of New York City, NY and Doris Cain of Bridgeton; eight grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four sisters, Ernestine Grice, Yvonne Hall, Ruth Hall and Bernice Hall.

            Funeral services will be held at the City of Refuge Church of Deliverance, 111 N Laurel St. Bridgeton on Monday, January 28^th at 12 Noon. Interment will take place at Overlook Cemetery in Bridgeton. Friends will be received at the church from 10 AM to 12 Noon prior to the services.  Arrangements are under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Township.
