Obituary of Margaret L. Towner

            Margaret L. Towner, 88, of Port Norris passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at the home of her daughter under the care of hospice and her family in Port Norris.

            Born in Port Norris to the late Louise Hinton, she was the wife of the late Charles Towner. Margaret had been a lifetime resident of Port Norris.

            Prior to her retirement, she had been employed by the Woodbine Developmental Center in Woodbine and was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Port Norris.

            She is survived by her two children, David Wallace and his wife, Maggie of Millville and Doretha Maddox and her husband, John of Port Norris; a daughter-in-law, Sharon Wallace of Millville; 16 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Allen Anthony Wallace a brother Lafayette Ross and a sister, Elizabeth Shirley Ross.

            Funeral services will be held at Shiloh Baptist Church, 2411 Memorial Ave., Port Norris on Saturday, January 26^th at 12 Noon. Interment will take place at Haleyville Methodist Cemetery in Commercial Twp. Friends will be received at the church from 10 AM to 12 Noon prior to the services.  Arrangements are under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME.
