Obituary of Elaine J. Stell

            Elaine J. Stell, 83, of Upper Deerfield Township passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at her home. 

            The wife of the late William E. Stell, she was born in Ogden, Utah and was the daughter of the late James G. Christos, Sr. and Ruth Hanby Christos. She had lived in Upper Deerfield Township for 30 years. 

            Prior to her retirement Elaine had been employed as a secretary at the former M.C. Schrank Company in Bridgeton for many years and also with the former Stevecoknit Company in Bridgeton. 

            She was a member of the Victory Assembly of God Church in Pittsgrove.

            Surviving are her daughter, Sharon R. Saul of Upper Deerfield Township; two grandchildren, Stephanie M. Stell and Nathan Stell and two brothers, James G. Christos, Jr of Hopewell Township and David Christos of CA.  She was predeceased by a son, Steven J. Stell and two brothers, Charles “Bud” Christos and John Harold Christos. 

            Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 18^th at 11 AM at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township.  Friends will be received from 10 to 11 AM prior to the services.  Written condolences can be sent to the family at www.padgettfuneralhomes.com.
