Obituary of Ramon Perez-Cruz

            Ramon Perez-Cruz, 93, of Hopewell Twp. passed away on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at his home under the care of hospice and his family.

            Ramon was born in Camuy, Puerto Rico and had been a resident of Hopewell Twp. for the past year. He had been a resident of Bridgeton most of his life.

            Ramon had been employed by Martin Dye and Finishing Co., P.J. Ritter Co. and Hunt Foods all in Bridgeton.

            He is survived by two daughters, Iris Santiago of Hopewell Twp. and Eva Steinert and her husband, Frank of VA; a son, Saul Cruz-Rivera and his wife, Maria and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Jose Angel Diaz; a daughter, Carmen M. Mercado and a son-in-law, Nelson D. Santiago.

            Funeral services and visitation were held privately at the convenience of the family with the Rev. Matthew Weber of the Parish of the Holy Cross officiating.
