Carl G. Couch, 70, of Hopewell Township passed away on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at Inspira Medical Center-Vineland. 

The son of the late Vernon L. Couch and Jean Nelson Couch, he was born in Bridgeton and had been a Hopewell Township resident for the past 63 years. 

Prior to his retirement, Carl had been employed for many years with H.M. Davis Electric in Shiloh.

A 1966 graduate of Bridgeton High School he was a skilled woodworker and an avid Civil War Reenactment Union Soldier. 

Surviving are his brother, Marlon D. Couch (Laurie) of Stow Creek Township and several nieces and nephews including Karen Carty of Pittsgrove who helped care for him.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Steven Couch and his twin brother, Vernon W. Couch.

Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township on Wednesday, January 2nd at 11 AM. Friends will be received from 10 to 11 AM prior to the services at the funeral home.  Interment will take place at Overlook Cemetery in Bridgeton.  Written condolences can be sent to the family through the funeral home website at www.padgettfuneralhomes
