Obituary of Eugene M. Clark, Jr.

Eugene M. Clark, Jr., 60, of Fairfield Twp. passed away at his home on Friday, December 21, 2018.

Born in Bridgeton to Eugene M. Clark, Sr. and the late Eleanor Skidmore, he was the husband of Kathy J. Gates Clark. Eugene had been a resident of Fairfield Twp. for the past 15 years and prior to that he had lived in Millville.

Before his retirement, he had been employed as a machine mechanic at Durrand Glass in Millville for over 32 years. He had also been employed by Kerr Glass in Millville for 8 years.

In his free time, Eugene enjoyed RV camping and riding his Kawasaki and Honda motorcycles. He could often be seen around town popping wheelies on his cycles and loved to help others build a great campfire.

Besides his wife, Kathy, he is survived by; his children, Leslie Gates and his wife, Lisa of Fairfield Twp. and Jennifer Voll and her husband, Michael of Franklinville; his father, Eugene M. Clark, Sr. and his companion, Emma Murdock; six grandchildren, Whitney, David, Michael, Courtney, Becca and Mikey; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Donnie Clark and his wife, Val of Bridgeton and Jimmy Murdock and his wife, Danna of South Carolina; his sister, Sue Murdock of South Carolina and his two Boxers, Hercules and Bella. He was preceded in death by; his daughter, Wendy Clark and his mother, Eleanor Skidmore.

Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Friday, December 28th at 8 PM. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 6 PM to 8 PM prior to the services.
