Obituary of Kathleen "Kappy" Elaine Ball

Kathleen E. “Kappy” Ball, 88, of Hopewell Twp. passed away on Wednesday evening, December 19, 2018 at the Cumberland Manor in Hopewell Twp.

Born in Bridgeton to the late William Adam Couch and Beulah E. Peterson Couch, she was the wife of the late Alfred M. Ball. She and Alfred were married on May 12, 1950 in Elkton, MD. Kappy had been a resident of Hopewell Twp. since 2002 and prior to that she had resided in Virginia and Bridgeton.

She had been employed for over 30 years at Owens Illinois Glass Co. in Bridgeton in the selection department. Kappy enjoyed flower gardening and dancing at the Oasis in her free time. She was also an accomplished seamstress.

Kappy is survived by; her two sons, Layne Ball and his wife, Sandy of Upper Deerfield Twp. and Kim Ball; her grandson, Jarvis Ball; three great-grandchildren, Jon Lewis, Angelina Ball and Lola Ball and her best friend, Josie Wandland. She was preceded in death by; her husband, Alfred M. Ball; two brothers, Vernon L. Couch and William A. Couch and two sisters, Mary Emma Tozer (Harry) and Genevieve Estlow (Claude).
