Obituary of Doris E. Champion

            Doris E. Champion, 88, of Cedarville passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland.

            Born in Port Norris to the late John Jenkins and Anna Peterson Jenkins, she was the wife of the late Rev. Frances E. Champion. Doris had been a resident of Cedarville for many years.

            Prior to the death of her husband, Doris could be found playing the Organ and Piano at the Fortescue Chapel for countless church services through the years. She will be remembered as a kind soul and for her beautiful ministry through music.

            She is survived by her three daughters, Patricia Ann and her husband, Bruce of TN, Dorothy “Dot” and her husband, Terry of Colts Neck and Lynne and her husband, Carrie and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, John “Jack” Jenkins and a sister, Dorothy Graves.

            Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family followed by the interment at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Cedarville.
