Obituary of Lydia Mae Harden

            Lydia Mae Harden, 88, of Vineland passed away at her home on Thursday, December 13, 2018 following a brief illness.

 

            Born in Sterling, VA to the late Eli Brent and Fannie Mae Martin (Ross), she was a resident of Vineland since October 2016 and prior to that she had lived in Millville.

           

            Before her retirement, Lydia had worked in the packaging department at Wheaton Glass Co. in Millville for over 17 years. She had also been previously employed at the Vineland Developmental Center. She was a member of Unity Fellowship Church in Millville. In her free time, Lydia enjoyed doing puzzles and spending time with her family.

 

            She is survived by seven children, Betty Jeanette Green, Clarence Young, Jr., Amy Delores Powers, Lydia Jean Harden, Richard D. Harden, Sebena Mae Smith and Edna Gray Harden; her sister, Rev. Thelma Brown; 28 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Carolyn Diane Trader and her siblings, Ernest Slater, William Brent, Sr., Calvin Brent and John Slater.

 

            Funeral services will be held at Miracle Temple Church of God, 1409 West Main Street, Millville on Tuesday, December 18th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Memorial Park in Hopewell Twp. Friends will be received at the church from 9 AM to 11 AM prior to the services.
