Obituary of Ruth Theresa Gallagher

            Ruth T. Gallagher (nee Ostheim), 95, of Millville passed away peacefully at the Genesis-Millville Center on Wednesday, November 28, 2018.

 

            Ruth was born in NY and lived in Millville for the past 15 years. She loved her family, loved to travel, adopt and nurture injured animals, but her passion was reading and studying the Bible. She proudly became one of the Jehovah's Witnesses in 1965 and has helped many to read, appreciate and understand the Bible as well.

 

            Ruth is preceded in death by her sisters, Helen and Martha and her brother, Sonny. She is survived by three children, Trish Gallagher of Freehold, Kathleen Cossaboon and her husband, Allen of Millville and Isabella Gambino of Philadelphia, PA; four grandchildren, Kristal Pierce and her husband, Tim of Sun City, AZ, Kori O'Connell and her husband, George of Lake Havasu, AZ and Tristan and Tanner Cossaboon of Millville; six great-grandchildren, Tyler and Cameron O'Connell, Tatiana, Talia, Taya and Alyson Pierce and a host of nieces and nephews.

 

            Her final act of giving was the by donating her body to the Mercer County Community College Funeral Service Education Anatomical Donation Program.

 

            A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 691 Irving Ave., Bridgeton on December 15th at 2 PM. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Twp.
