            Jonathan L. Murray, Jr., 39, of Millville died on Friday evening, November 16, 2018 at his home.

 

            Born in Vineland to Pastor Jonathan L. Murray, Sr. and Lugeania Boyer Murray, he was a lifetime resident of Millville.

 

            Jonathan was a career serviceman with the U.S. Army and served during operation Desert Storm and multiple tours of duty in Iraq. He had also served in the Army Reserve. In his free time, Jonathan was an avid pool player. He had won several competitions locally and went on to win a competition in Las Vegas last year. He also enjoyed watching and playing baseball.

 

            In addition to his parents who reside in Millville, he is survived by his daughter, Ariana Murray of VA; a sister, Nekia Murray of Millville; a brother, Demond Murray and his wife, Maria of Somerdale; two nieces and eight nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Jonathan W. Murray.

 

            Funeral services will be held at Soar Church, 1324 Dehirsch Ave., Woodbine on Saturday, November 24th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Cumberland County Veteran's Cemetery in Hopewell Twp. Friends will be received at the church from 9 AM to 11 AM prior to the services.
